at Sirenian Bay Resort in Placencia, Belize
On September 29, 2020 Dan and Tara met in cold Spring Harbor to go hiking with Halligan.
It was a great hike. Halligan ran away and Dan had a conference call 🤣 which is pretty typical of how the next three years have gone!
We got back to the car and it started raining. Dan suggested to go for lunch, so we went to Relish in King’s Park.
After lunch, Dan kissed Tara right away!
She was taken back by him being so forward but he said he knew what he liked and wanted to make it clear. They then met for dinner that same night. They clearly couldn’t get enough of each other from day one!
Their first date lasted 12 hours and it was the BEST day. Since that day they have seen each other almost every day and started officially dating on November 11, 2020.
They drove back and forth between Great River and Northport for a year seeing each other every day after work. In 2021, Dan moved in with Tara in Northport where they lived together for a year.
In August of 2022, Dan and Tara moved to their current home in Patchogue. In November of 2022, they got two dogs together, Ember and Ash. Tara and Dan did a lot of traveling together with Belize being an all time favorite!
Dan and Tara purchased property in Belize and visited often. They knew after the first time they visited that it was where they would want to get married one day!

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS & DETAILS
Rates include mandatory government hotel tax of 9% and service charge of 10%. Minimum stay is 4 nights. Extend your stay before or after the wedding and lock in the same room rate, subject to availability. Standard cancellation policies apply.
Additional guests above the number included will incur a charge of $123.75 USD per person (age 12+) per night. Additional guests aged 11 & under stay and eat free.
